I’d like to report that our beach trip this summer was the best vacation ever. For Liam and his friend, Max, I’m sure it was a pretty cool time indeed. Unfortunately, I suffered a tooth infection and pretty much had to swallow over the counter pain suppressors the entire time just to bear it. Listen, I could go on about how painful it was and how getting my tooth sawed in half and extracted on Monday was traumatic, but you know, what’s the point? The fact is, God’s been good to me and I could afford to rent a lovely beach house for my family and they all had a lovely time. It wasn’t all bad for me either. I got to catch a pretty good UFC fight night, even though one of my fav Gal fighters, Felice Herrig got crushed by a rookie, it was still a good card overall.
Ok, so back to the vacation. There are tons more pics from the iphone which I’ll post in another article later. For now, here are the pics I snapped with the Canon 70D. They are less in number and less inspired than last years, but that’s to be expected nursing a dying tooth I guess.

The weather had been forecast to rain the entire time and though it did pour at times, typical of beach weather there were also some moments of beautiful skies.

The big advantage to early Summer or Fall is the lack of any real big crowds.
